You know you're a HAM when....
I'm an IT person in case you're new here. I was an IT person before I knew I was an IT person.
Today, on a Facebook IT group, someone posted a picture taken from a support website, where a person who supposedly had worked in IT for 30 years couldn't work out a specific telco's wireless router setup.
They mentioned having issues with 5MHz and 2.4MHz WLAN configurations.
You know that you're a HAM when the first thing that pops into your head is the size of those antennas connected to the wireless router.
You also know how few HAMs there are in the world, when most people don't get your comment about what those antenna must be like.
I know, I know. It's Monday morning. Small things, small minds.
It's been too long since I've posted. I've been busy, unmotivated and generally more preoccupied with preparing to head to Bathurst next week. Sadly no chance of taking radios. Not my vehicle and not a lot of space. Still, it's been a couple of years since I've been out of the house for more than about 2 nights, so priorities and all that.
