Mixing the radios...
I've been using a Behringer Xenyx 302 mixer to mix 2 radios and my main PC audio together.
It's a USB powered desk that works OK, but it's at its capacity - and I'd really like to add more into it.
The other problem is quite simply the sockets are mounted on top with the controls. I like it sitting up so that I can easily drive it. The cables hang over the top. It gives it a tall foot print, moves easily and generally annoys me.
I managed to locate an Audio Telex TX8000 - a rack mount mixer with 6 RCA inputs. More channels, individual channel EQ and no USB power. And rack mountable. Not that I have a rack for it, but I can at least anchor it down.
Less than $80, so not a major investment. Looking forward to receiving it and seeing how it goes. I've used similar devices in AV setups in the past, so curious to see how this goes with a couple of radios attached to it.
