50Khz-2GHz Malahit DSP Malachite SDR Receiver Part 3

I've printed the case for the Malachite.

It's pretty fine and everything is a snug fit. The only real issue is the power button. When the back cover is on, it has a section that puts some light pressure on the antenna connector. That seems to cause just enough flex in everything that the power button seems to be snagging the circuit board instead of the switch.

The button the board itself is less than 1mm thick and only about 2mm wide. It's really delicate. There's very little tolerance in any direction. A little flex one way or the other is the difference between snagging the circuit board or going behind the switch completely.

Not sure what to do about that yet.

In other useless news, I knocked off early having been up at 4am yesterday fixing a backup system, so I went and fixed the thermocouple on the smoker that has been buggered for a while. I have a freezer full of meat that I froze when the smoker stopped working, so it's time to get it out and cooked before its not fit for dog food.

I've grabbed some ribs out to defrost. I'll get them in for lunch tomorrow while the XYL is at work. That should be an adequate test to make sure it's behaving before I consider bigger cooks.
